All pieces are microwave safe, dishwasher safe and oven safe.

Most of the pieces currently in the shop are electric fired unless otherwise noted.

I try to recycle shipping materials when possible.

I live and work on a farm that has been in my family for 4 generations.

From 2011 to 2018 I spent all my free time renovating the barn on the farm I grew up on into making and teaching space. More about this process can be found on a blog at meyerfarmproject.com.

I make my pieces from clay that I dig by hand from my farm.

I feel extremely blessed and obligated by the preciousness of this material.

Processing clay.

The drill press turns a homemade paddle bit to mix the clay with water in barrels. It is then pumped through a rotating screen, additives are blended in, and then pumped into canvas lined drying troughs, where it take months to dry to making consistency.
